Our Mission

Our mission is to increase awareness among middle and high school females about the opportunities that are available within engineering.

What is Engineering?

Engineering is a hands-on application of math and science to solve problems. Engineers generally make things work more efficiently, quickly, and less expensive. Engineering technologies improve the ways that we communicate, work, travel, stay healthy, and entertain ourselves.

How Can You Help?

There are several ways you can help Louise's Angels and support the cause.  You can help by spreading the word, becoming a volunteer, becoming a partner, or by making a donation.

Louise's Angels wants to increase awareness among inner-city high school females about the opportunities that are available within the field of engineering and encourage them to attend an accredited engineering program and pursue a career in engineering.

We are looking for girls in grades 6-12 in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area.

All meetings during the 2011-2012 School Year will be held at La Casa Community Center, located at 3166 Mount Pleasant Street NW, Washington, DC 20010 from 12PM-2PM, unless otherwise noted.  Please refer to our calendar for exact location and times.
